About

My name is Jonathan Joseph Mackin but 96% percent of people call me Mackin. I was born in South Florida and raised in Vegas. I like sports, rap music, craft beer, and good ideas. I love God, Danielle, my family, my fraternity brothers, and my friends who do not fall into any of those categories. I graduated of UNLV, where I studied marketing. I have  bunch of cool business ideas and have a little bit of entrpreneuship in me. I am loyal, caring, and hardworking. I like playing all sports and working out. I currently am the Digital Marketing Coordinator for Opportunity Village, Las Vegas’s Favorite Charity.

I like watching ESPN, Entourage, and the Food Network. Gossip is bad. I have never eaten healthy in  my life and have come to the realization that I’m going to clog my arteries by the time I’m 30 if I don’t start. I like watching movies about the government and secret societies. I am intrigued by pop culture and would like to think that I am fluent in that language. I am a morning person, I go to church every week because I enjoy it, and I want to ball, retire young, and play rounds of golf in between my crossing guard shifts.

Danielle is my best friend and I do everything with her, not because I’m soft but because I like to. I love kids and want a team choc full of athletes that I want to coach in little league and basketball. I have the sickest names picked out for them and can’t wait to hear John Buccigross announce their names on Top Plays. I am conservative. I think it is funny when people who don’t know about politics bicker forever when they don’t know anything. I don’t know a lot but I know enough to keep my mouth shut.

God Bless the New York Yankees and God Bless America! USA! USA! USA!

  1. Rick Shukis says:

A typical person evaluating your level of credibility can draw the following conclusions from you:
    1. You speak before you think
    2. Grammar, spelling, improper use of section breaks are of little importance to you.
    3. You talk about yourself as a 13 year old would on their MySpace.
    4. Clearly only people that know you would have any interest in reading further.

Read this to yourself once over, outside of your base of friends, who would really want to follow your blog? Look at popular bloggers and structure your posts and content similar to them.

Contrary to Shukis’ beliefs, we’re loving your blog! And the new look! :) -M
Jon, let’s plan a double date soon. -P
